OTHER SOURCES OF INFORMATION

10.40 The ABS encourages the secondary provision of published data. A list of secondary distributors of international merchandise trade statistics together with their contact details and the services they provide can be found on the ABS Data-dialogue page, which can be found on the ABS Blog.

10.41 A great deal of international merchandise trade statistics are available from international organisations. Australia, like other countries who are members of the international statistical community supply international merchandise trade statistics to the UNSD, OECD and IMF. These statistics are particularly useful when conducting country comparisons as all are on a single currency basis (normally US dollars). Interested users should visit these organisations' websites for further information.
